Your Start to a Healthy, Resilient Colony
We proudly offer quality-assured 5/6 frame nucleus colonies (NUCs) of British bred bees, nurtured at our home apiary in Cheshire. Meticulously managed and health-checked in line with UK best practice and National Bee Unit (NBU) guidance, our NUCs provide a robust, locally adapted foundation for your beekeeping journey. Choose conservation, choose British.
Important: Collection Only & 100-Mile Radius
To protect the welfare of the bees and support regional conservation, our NUCs are for Collection Only from our Cheshire apiary. Furthermore, to align with sustainable local stocking practices, beekeepers must be hosting these bees within a 100-mile radius of our collection point.
Are you ready for your NUC?
To welcome a 5/6 frame colony, you will need a clean, standard British National hive ready to receive the frames, along with suitable feeding equipment if the weather turns. Once your registration is accepted, we will send you full details on how to prepare your apiary for collection day.
